Powder equipment technology innovation drives industrial upgrading in many fields
In the field of metal additive manufacturing, powder equipment technology determines the quality level of 3D printing materials. Plasma rotating electrode atomisation equipment can produce titanium alloy powder with high sphericity to meet the demand of aerospace-grade additive manufacturing; while the new aerosolisation system significantly improves the yield and production efficiency of metal powder. The degree of automation of post-processing procedures such as sieving, drying and storage of powders is increasing, laying the foundation for the large-scale application of industrial-grade 3D printing.
The powder metallurgy industry is undergoing a transformation of equipment intelligence. The new generation of powder presses integrates intelligent weighing system and visual inspection device, which realises precise control of density and size of briquettes; the intelligent temperature control system of sintering furnace can automatically optimise the sintering curve according to different material characteristics; and the fully automated powder metallurgy production line realises unmanned production from mixing to finished products. These technological advances have significantly improved the consistency of the performance of powder metallurgy products and promoted the wider application of this technology in automotive parts and other fields.

In the preparation of environmentally friendly materials, powder equipment shows unique advantages. Resourceful use of industrial solid waste needs to be crushed to the appropriate size of various types of waste, the new multi-stage crushing system can simultaneously deal with different hardness of the mixture; construction waste recycled aggregate production line through the optimisation of the crushing process, able to control the shape of the particles, improve the performance of recycled concrete; and electronic waste in the recycling of precious metals also relies on highly efficient powder pre-treatment equipment. These applications provide key technical support for the development of circular economy.
The upgrading of powder coating production equipment is driving innovation in surface treatment technology. A new generation of extruders and milling systems can produce finer and more uniform powder coating particles, resulting in a flatter and smoother coating; intelligent colour matching systems enable rapid customised production of powder coatings; and the development of specialised equipment expands the scope of application of powder coatings in automotive, home appliances and other high-end fields. These advances make powder coating technology is gradually replacing the traditional liquid coating process.

In the field of cemented carbide tool manufacturing, the technological progress of powder equipment has significantly improved product quality. The preparation equipment of nanoscale tungsten carbide powder breaks through the limitation of traditional process, so that the hardness and toughness of tungsten carbide can be improved simultaneously; the new spray drying system improves the fluidity of the mixture and the uniformity of the pressed blank; and the precise temperature control of the intelligent sintering furnace ensures the stability of the product performance. These technological innovations promote the development of cutting tools, drilling tools and other products to the direction of high performance and long life.
