The safe operation of the powder equipment is directly related to the safety of personnel and the stability of enterprise production, and needs to be strictly controlled from a number of aspects:

Comprehensive inspection before operation: before starting the powder equipment, the operator needs to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the equipment. Check whether the parts of the equipment is intact, whether the screws are loose, whether the tightness of the transmission belt, chain and other transmission devices is appropriate, whether the protective cover is firmly installed. Check the electrical system to ensure that the wires are not broken, exposed, grounding device is normal, to prevent leakage of electricity caused by electric shock. For grinding, crushing equipment, you also need to confirm that the grinding chamber, crushing chamber without residual materials and debris, to avoid equipment start-up due to foreign objects lead to component damage or abnormal vibration. At the same time, check whether the supporting dust removal equipment, ventilation system is operating normally, to prevent the accumulation of dust in the production process triggering an explosion or affect the health of the operator.

Standardized startup and operation: When starting the equipment, it should be carried out in strict accordance with the operating procedures. First turn on the dust removal, ventilation and other auxiliary equipment, and then start the main equipment in turn. After the equipment is started, it is necessary to observe the operation status, listen to whether there is an abnormal sound, see whether the vibration of the equipment is in the normal range, to be stabilized after the operation of the equipment, before adding materials. Add materials, to control the feeding speed and quantity, to avoid overloading the equipment due to too much material too quickly, and even cause blockage, jamming phenomenon. In the process of equipment operation, the operator shall not leave his post without authorization, and should always pay attention to the operating parameters of the equipment, such as current, voltage, temperature, etc., and stop the machine in time to deal with the discovery of anomalies. It is strictly prohibited in the operation of the equipment cleaning, maintenance, adjustment and other operations, such as the need to deal with the problem, you must first shut down, disconnect the power, and in the complete cessation of operation of the equipment, hanging “prohibit the start” signage, to prevent accidents caused by mishandling.

Proper handling of emergencies: When an emergency occurs in the powder equipment, the operator should remain calm and take correct measures quickly. In case of equipment failure, abnormal vibration or noise, press the emergency stop button immediately, cut off the power supply of the equipment, and then check and repair according to the equipment troubleshooting process. In case of dust leakage, fire, etc., the emergency plan should be activated immediately. For dust leakage, shut down the equipment in time, start the dust removal system to deal with it, and clean up the leaked dust; in case of fire, according to the size of the fire, use the appropriate fire extinguishing equipment to put out the fire, such as dry powder fire extinguishers, carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, etc., and at the same time, report to the police in time and evacuate the people. Afterwards, the cause of the accident should be analyzed in detail, lessons learned should be summarized, and similar accidents should be prevented from happening again.

Maintenance and cleaning after operation: After the equipment stops running, the operator needs to carry out the necessary maintenance and cleaning of the equipment. Turn off the equipment power supply, gas source, etc., the surface of the equipment and the internal residual material to clean up, keep the equipment clean, to prevent material residues corrode equipment parts or cause mold. For grinding, crushing equipment such as knives, grinding discs and other wear parts, we should regularly check the wear and tear, and timely replacement of badly worn parts. Lubrication and maintenance of the transmission device, add the appropriate lubricant or grease, to extend the service life of the equipment. At the same time, clean up the filter element of the dust removal equipment, dust collection box and other components to ensure the effect of dust removal, to prevent clogging due to the filter element to affect the dust removal efficiency, resulting in dust concentration exceeds the standard. In addition, regularly carry out comprehensive inspection and maintenance of the equipment, testing and debugging of the electrical system and control system to ensure that the equipment is in good operating condition.
